A ten-year member of the McWains senior consulting team, Rich has managed the technology aspects of major McWains projects in microelectronics,
warehousing, telecommunications, banking, automotive, shipping, information security, and education. Certified as a Cisco SMB Engineer,
he has been responsible for the design and implementation of customer networks and systems to ensure a cost-effective and appropriate
level of redundancy and recoverability for support components of business applications. Rich provides leadership in technology and
business solutions, specializing in Unix, Microsoft, Oracle and IP networks. He has Avocent, Raritan, HP-UX and AIX certifications.
Rich participates on Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity projects in every facet of information gathering, planning, solution design
and implementation. Further, his skills in System installations and upgrades enables a wide range of IT services, including the daily
management and monitoring of Windows/Unix servers and network equipment for for clients nationwide.

Marv is founder (1983) and CEO of McWains Chelsea. He began work in IT over 35 years ago at Columbia University, and, after a decade
in database development and mainframe operations, began consulting to bridge the gap between data processing and the business, focusing
on sustainability. Marv received the 2003 IDRA Achievement Award for professional contributions and service towards the general advancement
of Contingency Planning. His book, Knowledge at Risk, is reputed to be the most comprehensive treatment of business continuity concepts
in the industry. He is a frequent speaker at contingency planning associations, including Gartner’s 2009 and 2010 Summits on Business
Continuity, Disaster Recovery Institute, Institute of Internal Auditors, Association of Contingency Planners, and the CPE. Articles
he has written have appeared in various industry publications, including AQP Journal, Contingency Planning & Management, Disaster
Recovery Journal, Quality Times, Continuity Insights and Survive!
Dan Chiara has 35 years of business management experience in information technology and telecommunications. Areas of expertise include Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planning, Change Management, Asset Management, Contract Administration, Budget and Finance Management, Project Management, Standards & Controls, and Programming/System Development. His BA degree is from SUNYGeneseo College, and he has advanced training in Business Continuity, Communications, Finance/Accounting, Hardware and Software Architecture, Managerial, Project Management, and Programming/System Development. He has proven management and project leadership skills in the information technology environment, including strong organizational, planning, and communication skills focused on delivering superior results.
